eBentley Studio was founded in 2000 in Detroit, Michigan by Edward Bentley as a freelance graphic design studio, and in 2007 relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Edward’s first clients at the time were his pastor and assistant pastor the Revs. Gregory and Jessica Ingram of Oak Grove AME church. In 1998 Edward was asked to be part of the 2000 Ingram for Bishop team. Also, during that time Edward was working at a mid-size ad agency, but on December 17, 1999, the ad agency took part in the down-sizing craze and cut its multi-media department, which Edward happen to be part of. That was the birth of eBentley Studio. The Rev. Gregory G.M. Ingram became the 118th elected bishop of the AME church in 2000 and eBentley Studio worked side by side with the Ingrams until their retirement in the summer of 2021. One of the many honors and accomplishments was working with the 1st Episcopal District committee on the 50th Quadrennial Session of the General Conference and The Bicentennial Celebration of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in July 2016.

eBentley Studio is grateful to the Ingrams, the AME churches and its members for their many years of continuous support. For this reason, we have decided to direct our main focus on the design and development of websites for our AME churches. This will allow us to better serve the needs of our AME churches and our communities.

Edward is happily married to his wife of 35 years as of August 2023. He has three adult daughters, two sons-in-law and three grandchildren. When Edward is not working he’s spending time with family and friends or in his wood shop sharpening his skills.

Edward’s education and love for graphic design started back in high school. Edward studied graphic design at Cass Technical High in Detroit, Michigan. After graduation, he attended the College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio where he received his BFA in commercial arts. Edward is a seasoned graphic designer with over 35+ years in the graphic design business. Before starting eBentley Studio in 2000, Edward worked in several ad agencies, design studios and a startup, working with an array of clients and projects, everything from branding, logo design, print collateral, web design, billboards, trade-show banners, Interactive training CD/DVD-ROM, Interactive trade-show kiosk, the list goes on and on. As he grows, he continues to improve his processes and invest in tools and resources to provide top-notch services.
